On-site support
We can provide the necessary hardware and software to support visitor reception. This is pre-configured and tested to suit the needs of the project. - Portables (and scanners) for administration and pre-registration data for checking pre-registrations and adding new registrations on the spot.
- Adding printers for printing (extra) badges on the spot.
- Data collectors at specific points (workshop entrance, exhibition stand, etc.) for scanning the barcode on the badge and reporting after the event using a time stamp.
- SMS gateway to send SMS to the account manager, for example, to say that his customer has arrived.
- Reading visitor information from electronic identity cards.
Portables are used to validate pre-registrations, to check that people have paid, to check if a ticket has been used twice and to register additional persons on the spot if necessary. During the event, you can check who and how many people are present. If the visitor brings along a confirmation e-mail, this can easily be identified using a scanner. If there is no barcode, the person can be searched by name, first name, company name, etc. A memo text can be added for further follow-up. You also have all pre-registration information permanently on hand, and additional information can be added if necessary. This information is synchronised immediately via the network and can be viewed at once on all PCs. Because the reception is a critical time at an event, we have paid particular attention to developing a stable solution. If the network or a PC does fail, each PC can continue working as a stand-alone machine and the reception proceed as normal. On-site validation
| On-site registration with badge or e-ticket
|
| | | Validate pre-registrations by typing registration number or by scanning barcode. | Searching person by name, first name, company name, etc. |
|
| After this, the details of the registration appear | If data are incorrect, they can be changed using Update to correct the database and print the right badge. |
We can also use the registration details to print a personalised programme on the badge so the visitor knows at a glance which workshop or lecture he/she has chosen at the event. Visitors often register a long time before the event and do not know exactly what they have registered for. The use of badges with a personal programme means fewer questions on site for the organisers. |
