Visitor badges are printed using the details from the registration website or details provided by the client in an Excel file. The client can also choose from the proposal when the badges are printed: - Badges are printed in advance and issued to the visitors at reception
- The badges are printed when people are validated at the event
- It is also possible to combine the above methods
If the visitor has entered the information him/herself, it should be correct. However, experience has shown that this is not always the case. That is why you can improve the quality by defining selection lists where possible (e.g. what country do you come from -> selection list of different countries, etc.). That way, you have the same spelling for everyone. The client also has an opportunity to change incorrect information manually using the management module to get the desired result. A layout is printed on each badge as a basis for this. This layout is completed with information collected during pre-registration, from the Excel file or on the spot via on-site registration. A CODE39 barcode of the registration number can also be printed or a photo added to the identity card when registering via e-ID. We can also use the registration details to print a personalised programme on the badge so the visitor knows at a glance which workshop or lecture he/she has chosen at the event.
Generally, only one layout is created for the badges at an event. We have to charge for the additional cost if extra layouts have to be created and defined to suit selected options. For example, different layouts may be created because of the language the visitor has chosen. It is also convenient for visitors if the organisers wear a clearly distinguished badge so visitors know this is the person to whom to direct their questions and/or comments. |
